JOB TITLE:: Base Management Specialist

Role Purpose & Key Accountabilities

Support and execute base management strategy to maximize customer lifetime value and contribution of the customer base to overall services revenue. Define and execute base management programs for pre-pay and revenue booster initiatives to achieve growth in customer base ARPU through targeted and segmented offers, campaigns, and pricing e.g data up-sell initiatives, tariff migration initiatives

Key Accountabilities

  • Execute E2E campaigns on cross-selling, upselling and base management initiatives
  • Prepare insightful reports on-base activities, retention and inactivity: setup and deliver IBRO reports, campaign ROI reports
  • Consistent monitoring of the overall customer base inactivity, subscribers, usage and propositions and recommend actions based on performance
  • Work with Regional teams to develop proactive campaigns (location specific) based on competition movements and on-ground insights
  • Prepare and ensure successful execution of weekly SMS communication calendar.
  • Support driving M-Pesa initiatives to increase penetration of M-Pesa users

  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in relational OLTP database models (OLAP is a plus)
  • Telecommunications experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience in coding with Python, JavaScript environments is an added bonus

Role Purpose & Accountabilities

  • Co-creating Advanced Machine Learning products that drive revenue, reduce cost and improve CX.
  • Developing big data monetization propositions and managing their end-to-end (E2E) execution.
  • Delivering actionable insights to support and contribute toward the delivery of CVM objectives and targets.
  • Contributing to the wider community to enable an Advanced Machine Learning capability across Vodafone globally

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify Analyze and Interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Support the extraction of data (ETL) from multiple sources.
  • E2E goes to market execution for big data and special projects propositions.
  • Prepare analytics and ML model results for business users.
  • Development of machine learning models for various areas of the business on the Big Data Platform.

  • Proficiency in Python and associated data Science ecosystem, Machine Learning and Experiments Design.
  • Expertise in data manipulation: use of structured data tools (e.g., SQL), & unstructured data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL)
  • Project knowledge and experience would be advantageous.

JOB TITLE: Insights & Reporting Analyst

Key Accountabilities

  • Market Place Insights & Reporting
  • Business unit market intelligence focal point
  • Engage all stakeholders across the business to collect, track and monitor various activities done happening in the market. Any relevant insight to be shared with leadership for strategic deliberation as soon as possible
  • Reporting Lead
  • Maintain daily/ weekly/monthly KPIs per bucket reporting and tracking
  • Timely and accurate preparation and presentation of input to Consumer Business Unit (CBU) reviews
  • Handle all insight and reporting projects, present results/findings before deadlines in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Project Management and Cross-functional Support
  • Provide insight and reporting support to regional teams
  • Engage Head of Regions and Territory Managers in the various projects being undertaken in respective market areas

Qualifications And Experience

  • University Degree in Business or Science studies
  • At least 3 years relevant experience preferably in leadership reporting
  • Fluent in English and grammatical conversant
  • Data analysis skills, use data-driven information and provide fact-based and progressive analytics
